Toshiba 2.5-Inch Super Slimline HDD Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS), Storage Device Division introduces the MK6050GAC and MK6050GACE 2.5-inch 60GB Hard Disk Drives for use in automotive entertainment, information and navigation applications. The MK6050GAC and MK6050GACE feature improved capacity and provide alternative temperature ranges to assist automobile manufactures and after market suppliers in designing robust digital devices for the car.

Toshiba's line of automotive HDDs enable a variety of applications, such as GPS navigation, digital music and video, and other telematic systems. With an altitude specification of 5,500 meters, the rugged MK6050GAC and MK6050GACE drives meet the operating extremes of a road environment. The MK6050GAC and MK6050GACE drives are ATA-7 compliant and supporting high transfer rates of up to 100 megabytes per second.
